The death of Dr. Ammar Bugis, a pioneer of integrating disability with talent

Dr. Ammar Boqas, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Irada Association for Gifted People with Disabilities and founder of the Ammar Award for Supporting Creative People with Disabilities, passed away on God’s mercy, Thursday 11/14/2024, after a journey of struggle in the field of charitable work, during which his name was registered with letters of light to be a pioneer of inclusion. Disability with talent in the Arab region, through the establishment of the first association in the world for gifted people with disabilities, and strengthened its role in this field by launching the Ammar Award to support innovators with disabilities.

اختتمت فعالية جائزة عمار لدعم المبدعين من ذوي الإعاقة في نسختها السابعة محلياً والأولى عربياً تحت شعار "الإلهام يتكلم عربي" بالعاصمة الرياض برعاية وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية المهندس أحمد بن سليمان الراجحي، وحضور ممثل جامعة الدول العربية المستشار خميس البوزيدي، وعدد من السفراء والقناصل المعتمدين لدى المملكة، ولفيف من أصحاب السمو الأمراء ورجال الأعمال ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني المهتمة بالأشخاص من ذوي الإعاقة.
