The closing ceremony was held in Riyadh, where the winners of the award were crowned with its tracks for people with disabilities and the track for serving people with disabilities. The Emirati child, Ali Al-Loughani, 10 years old, won the track for serving people with disabilities, and he received a prize of 25,000 riyals for his invention of a smart glove that helps people with disabilities control the chair. While the track for talented people with disabilities won the three places in succession, the talented Emirati musician and singer, Israa Youssef, with a visual disability, won the amount of 70 thousand riyals, and the talented Kuwaiti painter Abdul Rahman Al-Hamoud, with a visual disability, won the amount of 50 thousand riyals, and the 14-year-old Saudi girl came in third place. Iman Ghafah, a plastic artist with a motor disability, received an amount of 30,000 riyals. It is worth noting that more than 18,000 contestants applied for the award, and they were screened for 140 contestants through the jury, who evaluated the contestants in the award, which included the artist Ilham Al-Fadala, the artist Qusai Khader, and the media, Mahira. Abdulaziz, the plastic artist Lolwa Al-Hamoud, and the representative of the strategic partner of NEOM, Mr. Fadi Al-Rabighi. The committee is chaired by the founder and president of the Al-Irada Association, Dr. Ammar Buqas


Dr. Ammar thanked all those who contributed to the success of the award in all the Gulf countries from the official, governmental and private sectors, and particularly thanked the strategic partner of the award, NEOM, which made all its great efforts in its belief in its role in achieving one of the pillars of Vision 2030, which paid particular attention to people with disabilities and their empowerment in society. He thanked all the partners of the award and those in charge of it, expressing his pride in representing the Kingdom in the best way throughout the GCC countries. The award received great attention at the official media and societal levels due to the discoveries that they witnessed that will have an impact on the Gulf countries, and this is what Her Highness Mrs. Hajija expressed. Bint Jaifer Al Saeed, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Association for Children with Disabilities in the Sultanate of Oman, in a speech she delivered at the ceremony. The ceremony was also honored by the ambassadors of the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman. On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Community Development in the UAE, Dr. Hessa Buhumaid, delivered a recorded speech in which she thanked the Al-Irada Association for what it is doing towards people with disabilities.
