The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Dr. Ammar Buqas, expressed his thanks to NEOM Company, which has given social responsibility its right and people with disabilities unrivaled attention, as they are an important part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which has shed great light on people with disabilities and their empowerment. Disability and bringing them out of the darkness of despair into the light of empowerment, thus achieving many building blocks of the basics of the vision, stressing at the same time that the contestants will present surprises with their creativity through their talent.



For his part, the Executive Director of Government Affairs and Social Responsibility of NEOM, Mashari Al-Mutairi, affirmed NEOM's keenness to sponsor such influential and productive initiatives to be a strategic partner to serve talents in the Kingdom and present them on the scene in a manner commensurate with these great capabilities, since people with disabilities are among the most important pillars of society and serve their country with a spirit Sincerity is our duty to stand with them in the same spirit


It is noteworthy that the Ammar Award in which talented men and women compete for a number of awards, and the jury is composed of a number of famous specialists, namely the artist Qusai Khader, the artist Ilham Al-Fadala, the journalist Mahira Abdulaziz, the plastic artist Lolwa Al-Hamoud and the representative of the strategic partner Fadi Al-Rabighi. The committee is chaired by the founder and president of the Al-Irada Association, Dr. Ammar Buqas


More than 18,000 contestants were registered on the award site. They were filtered through the preliminary committee, so that the strongest talents were interviewed by the main jury.


The Ammar 2021 Gulf Award was launched with the slogan (Inspiration speaks Gulf) after it was held in four previous versions, its beginning was in 2014, and then the initiative’s march was completed in 2018 under the umbrella of the association, and then 2019, and in 2020 the award was held exceptionally at the time of the Corona pandemic through social media platforms And to complete the march, after changing its name to the Ammar Prize, we set out towards the Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates and Oman) based on two tracks of participation, which are the path of gifted people with disabilities and the path of serving people with disabilities who have ideas that serve people with disabilities. ; The Gulf tour will begin on the 27th of this month and end on the 10th of October. The closing ceremony will be in the capital, Riyadh, and under the auspices of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, on the twenty-eighth of October.
